You may place an order at any time using the website functionality. Orders may be placed strictly subject to the availability of stock. By clicking ‘add to basket’, you are placing the product in question into your online shopping basket. You may review your online shopping basket at any point while browsing, and can make changes to the quantities therein and add or remove products as you wish.
By submitting and confirming an order with us you are agreeing to a contract of sale to buy the goods you have chosen. You will receive an automated confirmation of your order by email, reiterating the goods and delivery date. By accepting an order, we confirm that we will do all that we can to ensure that it is fulfilled. Products are strictly subject to availability. In the rare event that we are unable to supply a product, you will be contacted by phone or email to discuss a substitute and the price for the product will be confirmed at this point.
The order total stated when you place your order, and recorded in your order confirmation, is the price you will pay for the goods. Placing an order with us carries with it the obligation to pay for the goods. We sell to end-users only. You must not resell products purchased from our website.
When you place an order, you are required to provide your delivery address. Your chosen delivery address is stated within your automated confirmation email, and it is your responsibility to ensure that this address is correct (see our delivery page for more information).
Our external courier DPD will deliver your order by 12pm on the chosen day of delivery. You are responsible for ensuring that someone is able to accept the order on the chosen delivery date. Our courier will accept instructions (at your risk) to leave your order with a neighbour or in a safe place, you may consider requesting for delivery to your own workplace if this is more convenient. Along with DPD, we will endeavour to ensure that your order reaches you on the chosen delivery date. Due to the nature of the product once your order is despatched only one delivery attempt will be made by DPD, if your delivery was not successful the product will then be destroyed by DPD. Unfortunately no refunds will be given for products destroyed by DPD.
The packaging we use will keep your order cool until the evening of the day of delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that goods are refrigerated as soon as they are received. Each order is cut individually and vacuum packed in a food-safe polythene pouch, then placed in a rigid polystyrene outer box. Each pack is provided with an ice-replacement gel, which has special low-temperature properties. This gel is non-toxic, food-safe, and can be disposed of safely with normal household waste. In Anglesey and around the Bangor area we can sometimes deliver directly from our shop to your door in our own refrigerated vehicle, the packaging will vary from that described above.
In the event of a non-delivery please contact us (via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone: 01407742391) within 24 hours of the expected delivery quoting your order number. We will investigate and inform you regarding the situation.
Products and Inspection
You are strongly advised to inspect your goods on receipt. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the goods received, you should contact us within 24 hours of receipt, by taking clear photographs of the goods and email them to: email@example.com including your order number, delivery date and any other information that could be useful in satisfying your concerns. Your statutory rights are not affected. We regret we are not able to accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered in error due to their perishable nature, or for incorrect cooking methods.
Our delivery charge is £20.00, this covers UK Mainland from Wednesday through to Friday. Saturday deliveries and areas outside the UK Mainland will incur a surcharge. Delivery on orders over £95 is free (same conditions as above) if you do not spend the qualifying amount for free delivery you will be charged the standard delivery charge of £20.00.
When you place your order it will be for a nominal weight of goods at a specified price. As orders are individually cut by hand there may be a variation in weight. This variation can be more or less than 10% of any item. Goods delivered within a + or – of 10% weight tolerance shall be deemed as complete.
Due to the nature of our goods it is possible that we may not be able to fulfil your order. In these circumstances we will inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative, or a cancellation and full refund of any monies paid.
Due to the nature of fresh meat, you cannot cancel or amend your order once it has been placed unless specifically agreed by Anglesey Fine Foods Ltd.
The allergens carried on site are as follows:
Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats
Crustaceans for example prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish
Milk (including lactose)
Nuts; namely almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia (or Queensland) nuts
Celery (including celeriac)
Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg or 10mg/L in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
Lupin, which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
Molluscs like, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid
